SC104 - Inspiration Challenge

Welcome to this month's Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge!  This month we are celebrating Children's Day!  Children's Day is a Japanese national holiday which takes place annually on May 5, the fifth day of the fifth month, and is a day set aside to respect children's personalities and to celebrate their happiness.

Before this day, families raise the carp-shaped koinobori flags (carp because of the Chinese legend that a carp that swims upstream becomes a dragon, and the way the flags blow in the wind looks like they are swimming), one for each child.

While this inspiration doesn't have the traditional koinobori flags, the kites reminded me of this tradition and so I thought kites fitting for our inspiration this month!  What will catch your eye this month?  The colors, the shapes, repetition??  We can't wait to see what you draw from this inspiration!
